The Wraith is Nexus RV's Super C diesel motorhome. It rides on the Freightliner S2RV chassis with the Cummins ISB 6.7L diesel and is built around Nexus's signature Composite Steel construction. It's aimed at buyers stepping up from gas Class C and Class A coaches who want diesel pulling power and a heavier chassis. Chassis, Powertrain, and Towing

The Wraith rides on the Freightliner S2RV chassis with the Cummins ISB 6.7L diesel rated at 340 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque. It pairs with the Allison 2500MH 6-speed automatic transmission, an exhaust brake, and rear air-ride suspension. Two 60-gallon fuel tanks total 120 gallons of fuel capacity, and a 10-gallon DEF tank handles emissions fluid. A 10,000-pound hitch with 7-way and 4-way flat connectors handles tow loads. GVWR is 24,000 pounds and GCWR is 33,000 pounds. The cab adds power air-ride driver and passenger seats, a 9-inch touchscreen with phone mirroring, backup and side-view cameras, an emergency start switch, cup holders, an engine block heater, and the standard cab equipment package. Black rims on 22.5-inch tires round out the chassis appearance.

Composite Steel Construction

Construction is the Wraith's defining differentiator. Nexus runs a high-strength low-alloy steel cage throughout the coach in place of the aluminum framing common on most RV builds. Nexus rates the approach up to 72% stronger than typical aluminum-framed construction. The build also uses one-piece gelcoat fiberglass sidewalls with a composite substrate, a laminated steel-framed floor, a fiberglass front cap, and a one-piece wraparound fiberglass roof. Benefits include better long-term water damage resistance, improved thermal and sound insulation, and increased structural rigidity.

Exterior and Paint

Exterior features include frameless windows with automotive seal, heated and remote rear-view mirrors, an interior entry door handle, slide-out awning toppers throughout, premolded rear roof transition, lighted rubber-lined galvanized steel trunk boxes, valve extenders on the rear inner wheels, an outside shower, slam-latch side-hinge compartment doors, the Winegard 360 digital TV antenna, a cab-over driver-side window, and deluxe 4-color full-body paint. Fully automatic hydraulic leveling jacks are standard. Three exterior color schemes are offered: Noir, Chianti, and Cobalt.

Interior, Galley, and Décor

The interior runs upgraded flooring, LED lighting throughout, upgraded window treatments with night roller shades, black pull handles and fixtures, a flat-screen TV in the living room, and a dinette booth. The galley pairs solid-surface countertops with a stainless steel undermount sink, sink covers, and a residential faucet with sprayer. The bedroom carries a deluxe innerspring mattress and a TV. Four interior décor choices are available: Bourbon, Adventure, Coastal, and Modern.

Power, Solar, and Utility

Power runs a 6 kW diesel generator with auto-gen start and automatic transfer switch, two 12-volt deep-cycle house batteries, a 60-amp 12-volt power converter, a 50-amp 120-volt distribution panel, a battery disconnect, an on-demand hot water heater, a 100-watt solar panel, an electric patio awning with LED lights, an exterior security light, an exterior TV cable jack, and an LP quick-disconnect.

The Six Wraith Floor Plans

The number designations reflect approximate length, with the 30F as the shortest and the 37F as the longest.
