The BTouring Cruiser (also known simply as the BT Cruiser) is Gulf Stream's compact, easy-to-drive Class C motorhome, designed around a 96-inch-wide low-profile body that handles two-lane roads, city streets, and tight campsites where a full-size Class C or Class A would struggle. It targets traveling couples who want a coach they can drive as much as they camp in, retirees stepping up from a Class B, and weekend campers looking at the BT Cruiser against larger Class C platforms. With ten available floor plans across both Ford and Chevrolet chassis options, the BT Cruiser covers a wide range of layouts and use cases.

Three chassis configurations are offered. The 5210, 5230, 5240, 5245, and 5260 use the Ford® E-350 chassis with a 12,500-pound GVWR. The 5255 and 5270 step up to the Ford® E-450 chassis with a 14,500-pound GVWR. Both Ford configurations run the 7.3L V-8 gas engine paired with a 55-gallon fuel tank and 50-state emissions. The 5220 uses the Chevrolet® Express 3500 chassis with a 12,300-pound GVWR, the 6.6L V-8 gas engine, a 33-gallon fuel tank, and 50-state emissions.

The BT Cruiser Bonus Package comes standard on every coach and adds the most-popular options at no extra charge. The Bonus Package includes a 4.0 kW enclosed generator, a power awning with LED lights and speakers, a 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner, an AM/FM stereo with clock, the stainless or black appliance group, the high-gloss Harbor Grey fiberglass exterior with Azdel synthetic substrate, upgraded LED lighting inside and out, an exterior acrylic grab handle, a glass range cover (not available on the 5210 and 5220), a friction-hinge entry door with window and shade, upgraded designer graphics, night-only roll-up shades, an insulated A/C H-Duct system in the roof, a ceiling light switch in the monitor panel, vinyl flooring throughout, fiberglass running boards, an electric step, an IRD dual battery charging system, an emergency start switch (not available on the 5220), a deluxe comfort mattress, stainless steel wheel liners, an outside shower, a black tank flush, a 7,500-pound hitch with 7-way connector and brake controller, a rear-mount ladder, a spare tire and carrier, the Bluetooth-ready multimedia stereo with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ (not available on the 5220), a second house battery (not available on the 5210 and 5220), and soft-touch driver and passenger seats.

The body uses welded aluminum cage construction for the sidewalls and roof, smooth Harbor Grey fiberglass laminated walls with an Azdel synthetic substrate, a one-piece radius roof, fiberglass front and rear caps and wings (rear caps not available on the 5220), radius windows with tinted safety glass, a laminated steel-frame floor with underbelly, undercoat paint, and basement storage. Outside features include rear mudflaps, magnetic holders on outside storage doors, a kitchen window, foam seal and undercoating throughout, a slide-out room (not available on the 5210 or 5220) with slide-out toppers, fiberglass running boards, the electric step, the rear-mount ladder, an outside shower, the black tank flush, the spare tire and carrier, and the 4.0 kW enclosed generator.

Climate control runs a 13,500 BTU rooftop air conditioner with a ducted ceiling system, an in-dash air conditioner, and a 25,000 BTU gas forced-air furnace (a 19,000 BTU furnace on the Chevy 5220). A tankless water heater with bypass valve handles hot water capacity. Power management includes the 4.0 kW enclosed generator, an auxiliary battery (with a second house battery added through the Bonus Package on most floor plans), a converter with battery charger and auto changeover, a 30-foot detachable power cord, a battery disconnect switch, a 42-pound LP gas tank, and the IRD dual battery charging system. A generator switch and hour meter are mounted at the monitor panel, along with cable TV ready hookups, a TV antenna with amplifier, the bath power vent, and bedroom TV hookups (not available on the 5210, 5220, or 5230).

The interior runs upgraded interior fabrics, two interior decor choices, soft pleated privacy shades, designer window treatments, overhead reading lights, satin nickel lights, vinyl flooring throughout, hidden hinges on cabinetry, a privacy curtain for the cab area, a pleated privacy bedroom curtain (not available on the 5210, 5220, or 5230), 2-way power driver and passenger cloth seats with soft-touch upgraded covers, soft-touch jackknife sofas (on the 5210, 5220, 5230, and 5270), and a single barrel chair (on the 5255 and 5270). The 5240 and 5260 add a 40-inch TV with fireplace.

The galley pairs a microwave oven with a 3-burner range and oven (not available on the 5210 or 5220, which use a 2-burner cooktop), a refrigerator (8.0 cubic foot 12V double-door on most floor plans, 6 cubic foot 12V on the 5210 and 5220), the glass range cover (where applicable), and the kitchen window for natural light. Bathroom amenities include a powered bath vent, a Skydome in the shower, a Streamline retractable shower door, and the tankless water heater with bypass valve. Safety equipment includes a fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and LP gas detectors, an exhaust pipe heat shield, and the spare tire and wheel.

The 5210 and 5220 are the most compact non-slide layouts (the 5210 on the Ford E-350 and the 5220 on the Chevy Express 3500). The 5230, 5235, 5240, 5245, and 5260 are mid-length single-slide layouts on the Ford E-350. The 5255, 5257, and 5270 are the longest layouts on the Ford E-450 with the larger GVWR for buyers who want more cargo capacity. The 5240 and 5260 add the standard 40-inch TV and fireplace combination. The 5255 and 5270 add a single barrel chair to the seating layout.

Optional equipment available across the BT Cruiser lineup includes the full paint exterior with ultra-high-gloss gelcoat, partial paint exterior, an upgrade to a 15,000 BTU rooftop air conditioner, a 200-watt roof-mounted solar power system with 30-amp controller, heat pads on the holding tanks, power leveling jacks, heated remote-controlled rear-view mirrors, an outside hot and cold shower upgrade, solid-surface countertops, a 40-inch LED HDTV upgrade, and additional hitch and accessory upgrades.
