Midwest Automotive Designs Patriot Cruiser RVs For Sale
Midwest Automotive Designs Patriot Cruiser luxury Class B Sprinter conversions for sale at Motor Home Specialist, the #1 Volume Selling Motor Home Dealer in the World and the #1 Midwest Automotive Designs RV dealer in the country.
The Patriot Cruiser is Midwest Automotive Designs' day cruiser-style luxury Mercedes-Benz® Sprinter conversion, built for buyers who want first-class travel comfort between destinations rather than a coach designed for extended camping trips. The Patriot Cruiser leans into business travel, executive transport, sports team travel, professional shuttle service, and personal luxury road trips where the priority is high-end seating, sound, and connectivity rather than a wet bath, kitchen, and full sleeping setup. Midwest Automotive Designs was the first luxury van conversion company to offer the Cruiser conversion configuration, and the lineup remains the segment leader.
The Patriot Cruiser is built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with the 2.0L Inline-4 High-Output Diesel engine and the 9-speed automatic 9G-Tronic transmission. Three wheelbase configurations are offered with corresponding overall lengths: a 24-foot 2-inch length on the 170-inch extended wheelbase, a 22-foot 10-inch length on the 170-inch standard wheelbase, and a 19-foot 7-inch length on the 144-inch wheelbase. Overall height is 9 feet 3 inches on rear-wheel-drive configurations or 9 feet 7 inches on all-wheel-drive configurations. Overall width is 96 inches, and interior height is 74 inches. A backup camera is standard.
The interior runs soft-touch automotive fabric throughout, luxury custom seating with double-needle-stitched accents, custom handmade woodwork throughout in a satin wood finish, composite wood-grain flooring, full insulation, dark-tinted side and rear windows with a complete privacy shade package, coordinated valances, custom coordinated door panels, floor mats with non-slip rubber backing, LED lighting throughout, the Firefly touchscreen control system, and 110V and USB outlets at each rear seating location.
Audio is handled by the Alpine sound system with an Alpine amp and subwoofer, an FM radio with Bluetooth connectivity, an HDMI input and switching system, and a front overhead 32-inch HDTV. Climate control runs the Sprinter chassis HVAC plus an internal rear A/C and heating system. Power management includes a 2,000-watt inverter and charger, an auxiliary coach battery, and the standard Sprinter chassis electrical system.
The seating runs swivel 2nd-row captain's chairs and slide tracks for all captain's chairs without leg lifts (leg lifts are part of the optional Patriot Cruiser Package). Driver and passenger seats are recovered with deluxe upholstery to match the rear cabin, and a full seatbelt package is standard.
The Patriot Cruiser is available in seven exterior color options: Obsidian Black, Arctic White, Iridium Silver, Tenorite Grey, Stone Grey, Blue Grey, and Pebble Grey. Custom paint is also available as an upgrade.
The optional Patriot Cruiser Package adds the equipment that turns the Cruiser from a day-trip vehicle into a more capable extended-travel coach. The package includes overhead side storage cabinets, two power leg lifts, a Maybach lighted ceiling panel, a rear bath with toilet, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, a shoreline hookup with charger, a rear HDTV mounted in the bath door, folding lap tables (three on the D6 170EXT, two on the S5 and D6 170STD, one on the D4), and all-season tires with aluminum wheels.
The optional Freedom 600 Package adds 600 amp-hours of lithium batteries, a 3,000-watt inverter, a 12V rooftop A/C, a diesel power furnace, and 320 watts of solar power on the 144-inch chassis configuration. Other optional equipment includes the molded low-profile spoiler, seat heat and massage on all captain's chairs, a 4-camera system with dash monitor, a wireless internet router with Apple TV, a custom roof rack and ladder, an outside entertainment prep kit, and the air ride suspension system upgrade.
At MHSRV, the Patriot Cruiser is offered in three floor plans: the S5, the D4, and the D6. The S5 is the side-bath layout with a sofa/foldout bed, refrigerator, microwave, and an overhead cabinet stool/wardrobe configuration in the rear. The D4 is the four-passenger captain's chair configuration with two sofa/foldout bed positions and a smaller forward galley layout. The D6 is the six-passenger captain's chair configuration on either the 170-inch standard or 170-inch extended wheelbase, with two sofa/foldout bed positions and a forward galley with refrigerator and microwave.

Midwest Automotive Designs Patriot Cruiser FAQs
What is the Midwest Automotive Designs Patriot Cruiser?
The Patriot Cruiser is Midwest Automotive Designs' luxury day cruiser-style Mercedes-Benz Sprinter conversion. It's built for travelers who want first-class transport comfort with luxury custom seating, an Alpine sound system, an HDTV, and a rear A/C system, rather than a coach designed for extended camping trips. The optional Patriot Cruiser Package adds a rear bath, refrigerator, microwave, and shoreline hookup for buyers who want extended travel capability.
What chassis is the Patriot Cruiser built on?
The Patriot Cruiser is built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with the 2.0L Inline-4 High-Output Diesel engine and the 9-speed automatic 9G-Tronic transmission. Three wheelbase configurations are offered: the 144-inch wheelbase (19 feet 7 inches), the 170-inch standard wheelbase (22 feet 10 inches), and the 170-inch extended wheelbase (24 feet 2 inches).
What's the difference between the Patriot Cruiser and the Patriot?
The Patriot Cruiser is designed primarily as a day cruiser focused on travel comfort between destinations, with luxury seating, audio, video, and connectivity, but without a full bath, kitchen, or sleeping setup as standard. The standard Patriot is built as a more traditional camper conversion with a wet bath, kitchen, and dedicated sleeping configuration. Both are built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis with similar drivetrain options. Floor plans, finish packages, and feature differences vary, and your salesperson can walk through the specific differences.
Is the Patriot Cruiser a Class B?
Yes, the Patriot Cruiser is a Class B luxury Sprinter conversion. It's built inside the body of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter cargo van, with seating, sound, climate, and (with the optional Patriot Cruiser Package) bath and galley features integrated into the original van shell. It's not a Class B camper in the traditional camping-focused sense. The Patriot Cruiser leans toward a luxury day cruiser configuration.
What floor plans does the Patriot Cruiser come in?
Motor Home Specialist offers the Patriot Cruiser in three floor plans: the S5, the D4, and the D6. The S5 is the side-bath layout with a sofa/foldout bed, refrigerator, microwave, and an overhead cabinet stool/wardrobe configuration. The D4 is the four-passenger captain's chair configuration with two sofa/foldout bed positions. The D6 is the six-passenger captain's chair configuration on either the 170-inch standard or 170-inch extended wheelbase, with two sofa/foldout bed positions and a forward galley layout.
What is the optional Patriot Cruiser Package?
The Patriot Cruiser Package is an optional upgrade that adds the equipment to extend a Patriot Cruiser from a day vehicle into a more capable travel coach. It includes overhead side storage cabinets, two power leg lifts, a Maybach lighted ceiling panel, a rear bath with toilet, refrigerator, microwave, and sink, a shoreline hookup with charger, a rear HDTV mounted in the bath door, folding lap tables (three on the D6 170EXT, two on the S5 and D6 170STD, one on the D4), and all-season tires with aluminum wheels.
What is the optional Freedom 600 Package?
The Freedom 600 Package is an optional power-system upgrade for the Patriot Cruiser that adds 600 amp-hours of lithium batteries, a 3,000-watt inverter, a 12V rooftop A/C, a diesel power furnace, and 320 watts of solar power on the 144-inch chassis configuration. It's targeted at buyers who want extended off-grid range and the ability to run climate and electrical systems without external power.
What color options does the Patriot Cruiser offer?
The Patriot Cruiser is available in seven exterior color options: Obsidian Black, Arctic White, Iridium Silver, Tenorite Grey, Stone Grey, Blue Grey, and Pebble Grey. Custom paint is also available as an upgrade.
How many people can the Patriot Cruiser sleep?
The Patriot Cruiser is built primarily as a day cruiser, not a sleeping coach. The S5, D4, and D6 floor plans all include sofa/foldout bed configurations that provide overnight sleeping capability for short stays, but the Patriot Cruiser doesn't include a dedicated bedroom or fixed bed setup. Buyers who want a Sprinter conversion with a dedicated bedroom should look at the standard Patriot or other Midwest Automotive Designs camper-focused models.

Motor Home Specialist offers industry-leading discount pricing on every new Midwest Automotive Designs Patriot Cruiser for sale, well below MSRP, so you save thousands compared to other Midwest Automotive Designs dealers. Pricing varies by floor plan, chassis selection, and selected options. Contact MHSRV for current pricing on in-stock units.
