The Forester Classic is Forest River's Ford-chassis Class C gas lineup, built on the Ford E-350 or E-450 with the EZRYDE upgraded suspension for a smoother ride. It's the upper-tier gas Forester: leather cockpit seats, slide toppers, and optional full-body paint come on a coach that still competes on value against the Coachmen Cross Trail and Freelander, Thor Four Winds and Chateau, Winnebago Minnie Winnie and Spirit, and Fleetwood Altitude. Chassis and Towing
Every Forester Classic shares the same weight ratings: a 14,500-pound GVWR, a 22,000-pound GCWR, a 5,000-pound front GAWR, a 9,600-pound rear GAWR, a 55-gallon fuel tank, and a 41-pound LP tank. The hitch depends on chassis: 7,500 pounds on the E-450, 5,000 pounds on the E-350, both with a 7-pin connector. That covers a small SUV, sedan, motorcycle hauler, or small enclosed trailer. Construction and Exterior
The body uses 2-inch aluminum-framed laminated sidewalls with the Superlite composite substrate, gel-coat fiberglass, block foam insulation, a fiberglass roof, a one-piece fiberglass front cap, and roto-cast storage compartments. Outside you get a power patio awning with LED light strip, slide-out awnings, heated remote mirrors, tinted sliding windows, an outside shower, a black tank flush, an LP quick-connect, and an On-The-Go ladder bracket on most models. Optional upgrades include 4-point automatic leveling and full-body paint, which swaps the aluminum running boards for fiberglass.
Inside the Forester Classic
The cab pairs standard leather driver and passenger seats (swivel optional) with a 10-inch CarPlay/Android touchscreen radio, backup and side-view cameras on a 3-way monitor, power windows and locks, and keyless entry. The galley runs a recessed 3-burner range with flush glass cover, a convection microwave, a 10.7 cu ft 12V refrigerator, soft-close drawers, and a cordless 12V charging plate. The bath adds an oxygen-infused shower head, a motion-sensor light, and a shower skylight. The living area uses a convertible dinette (theater seats optional on most floor plans), black-out roller shades, a 12V adjustable side TV, and child seat tethers in the dinette.

The Six Forester Classic Floor Plans
The 2441DS (27 feet 1 inch, dual slides) sleeps six around a 60-by-74-inch walkaround queen, a U-shaped dinette, and the 60-by-80-inch cab-over bunk, which doubles as storage.
The 2501TS (27 feet 1 inch, three slides) moves the queen to a rear bedroom with a wedge mattress and nightstand, plus a walk-through bath with glass-door shower.
