Class C & B+ RVs for Sale at MHSRV - The World's Leading RV Specialists
Class C and B+ Motorhomes for sale at Motor Home Specialist, the #1 Volume Selling Motor Home Dealer in the World. MHSRV stocks one of the largest selections of new and used Class C and B+ motorhomes for sale anywhere in the country.
A Class C motorhome is built on a van or truck cutaway chassis, most often the Ford E-350 or E-450 gas chassis, with some models using the Mercedes Sprinter or Ram diesel chassis. Its signature feature is the cab-over section above the cab, which adds a sleeping berth or storage and gives the Class C its familiar shape. A B+ is a hybrid of the Class B and Class C. It drops the cab-over for a more aerodynamic, rounded front cap, so it offers more room than a Class B camper van while staying easier to drive than a big Class A.
For a lot of buyers, the Class C or B+ is the just-right size. It is smaller and easier to drive than a Class A and gentler on fuel, but it still carries far more living space and amenities than a camper van. Many models pack the same features you would find in larger and more expensive coaches, including convection ovens, large refrigerators, real dining areas, and exterior kitchens and entertainment centers.
These coaches also work well for families. Class C floor plans often add sleeping room through the cab-over bunk and dedicated bunk bed layouts, and many sleep six or more. B+ models usually offer a larger bathroom than a van's wet bath, plus options like a private bedroom, a sofa sleeper, and power-lift LED TVs. If you want more chassis and towing muscle in a similar footprint, take a look at our Super C and diesel pusher coaches as well.

Class C and B+ RV FAQs
What is a Class C RV?
A Class C RV is a motorhome built on a van or truck cutaway chassis, most often the Ford E-350 or E-450, with some models on the Mercedes Sprinter or Ram diesel chassis. Its defining feature is the cab-over section above the driver, which usually holds a bed, storage, or an entertainment area. Class C coaches offer a strong mix of living space, amenities, and easy drivability.
What is a B+ RV and how is it different from a Class C?
A B+ is a hybrid between the Class B camper van and the Class C motorhome. The main difference is that a B+ does not have the cab-over section a Class C has, so it has a more aerodynamic, rounded front cap. A B+ gives you more room and amenities than a camper van while staying compact and easy to drive, and it often includes a larger bathroom and a private bedroom option.
What is the difference between a Class C and a Class A or Class B?
A Class A is the largest motorhome type, with a flat-front, full-width body and the most living space, but it costs more and takes more practice to drive. A Class B camper van is the smallest and easiest to drive, but it has limited room. The Class C and B+ sit in the middle, giving you much of the space and many of the features of a Class A in a package that drives more like a van or truck.
Can you sleep a family in a Class C motorhome?
Yes. Class C motorhomes are a popular family choice because the cab-over berth adds sleeping space without taking room from the main living area. Many models offer dedicated bunk bed floor plans, and a typical Class C sleeps six or more between the cab-over, the dinette, the sofa, and the main bed. B+ models seat and sleep fewer people but still work well for couples and small families.
Are Class C and B+ motorhomes easy to drive?
They are among the easier motorhomes to drive. Because they are built on van and truck chassis, the driving position and handling feel familiar to anyone comfortable in a large pickup or van. They are shorter and narrower than a Class A, which makes parking, fuel stops, and tight campgrounds simpler to manage, and B+ models are even more nimble thanks to their compact size.
What chassis are Class C and B+ motorhomes built on?
Gas Class C and B+ motorhomes are most often built on the Ford E-350 or E-450 cutaway chassis, with some models using a Ford Transit or Ram ProMaster. Diesel models typically use the Mercedes Sprinter or, on heavier coaches, the Ram 3500 to 5500 chassis. Gas chassis keep the price lower and service easy to find nationwide, while Sprinter diesel models offer better fuel economy and a longer engine service life.
